General Aviation Company, Inc.
Established in 1974 as a Cessna and Piper aircraft dealer. In the 70's, the sales of a couple of Archers and a couple of Citations or Skyhawks could fund the operation of an FBO for a full year. As times changed, we pivoted our operations to a service oriented business model and in 2007, General Aviation, Co. became the sole Orange County Jet A dealer outside of John Wayne Airport. We continue to provide excellent fuel and aircraft maintenance services to the Southern California general aviation community.

Avgas (aviation gasoline), also known as aviation spirit in the UK, is an aviation fuel used in spark-ignited internal-combustion engines to propel aircraft. Avgas is distinguished from mogas (motor gasoline), which is the everyday gasoline used in motor vehicles and some light aircraft.
Jet A and Jet A-1 are kerosene-type fuels. The primary difference between the two is freeze point, the temperature at which wax crystals disappear in a laboratory test. Jet A, which is mainly used in the United States, must have a freeze point of minus 40ºC or below and does not typically contain static dissipation additive.

I have kept my plane hangared at General Aviation the last few years and can't be any happier. I am treated like royalty, yet feel right at home in the pilot lounge. The staff is great from the office manager Tina, the front office staff and lead lineman John. General Aviation has what you need to get in and out fast. Their maintenance team meets exceptional standards and can take care of any fixed wing that flies into the airport. Transient parking is next to the runway and instrument procedures will get you on your way easily. The Wings Café is next door, Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm are just minutes away. I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else in the Orange County vicinity.Ron Shave
